Staycation 2018 - Monday

We woke up on Monday, June 25th in lovely Idaho!  We love the crisp morning air there!  As usual, our boys woke up before the rest of us and made a ruckus until everyone was awake.  The scallywags!

Once we were all sufficiently rousted, we began the celebration!  See, June 25th is exactly half way to Christmas, and we celebrate every year.  So we just brought the party with us to Idaho this year - at least a toned down version of it.  We listened to Christmas music and ate gingerbread.  Then we had a quick paper snowball fight with the grandparents. They were real troopers! The pictures are a bit blurry, but that's because of the incredible action going on in them!!!

Later in the morning, we drove out to the sand dunes.  It was the first time any of us had spent the day there.  It was a blast!  David and his dad took us all for rides on Grandpa's Razor while the rest of us played in the sand.  It was a great time!

That afternoon/evening the cousins came over again for a bit more fun!

I believe we headed home to Utah pretty late in the evening, arriving home well past our bedtimes.  But we were on vacation and we could sleep in , so no one cared!
