Here are a couple other things that we did in February and March:

| One night, Nicole and I went to a U of U gymnastics meet with our friends. I had never been before and (aside from feeling like a giant - I swear even gymnastics fans are teeny) I had a blast! I intend to go more often next season! |

| So this is Charley (Nicole's BFF and our across the street neighbor), Nicole, me, Charley's mom, Lisa (who is my good friend), and Lisa's mom. |

Nicole attended her first school dance on the Friday of Valentine's week. Her school always puts on a dance for the sixth graders.

They had major decorations, treats, games, and had previously taught everyone some line dances so everyone had a really great time.!

| Our boys school had some fun activities. Here are a few pictures: This lovely lady is Rosemary Wells - author and illustrator of the Max and Ruby books (and several others). She came and gave the most amazing presentation to the kids - one grade at a time. She showed them a PowerPoint about how hard she works, how much time and effort goes into doing things right, how much practice she still needs, how important it is to take good care of her supplies and tools, etc. It was amazing! The first book I ever got for my children when Alison was born was a little book called "Read To Your Bunny." I read it so many times to Ali (and my other babies) that I still have it memorized. It holds a special place in my heart, so I was over the moon about meeting this woman! |

| As part of a fundraiser, the kids were able to bring in spare change and "vote" for which teachers and administrators they would like to see take a turn in a dunk tank. The teachers who raised the most money got dunked. It was kind of fun! |

The dunking ceremony took place in the afternoon, after these kiddos were already home. But they wanted to watch, so I took them back while Melanie stayed home with the little boys.
Their school also had a HUGE art auction and dinner. Melanie and I went together to see what it was all about. I can't even believe what a huge deal it was! The school must have raised tens of thousands of dollars at it. It was insane! Somehow, we didn't get any pictures.

Nicole's basketball team had an all-day tournament at USU in March.

| I had to stay home with the rest of the kids. Just David went. I was totally jealous! |

Here's a sad story. In March, several of us got a nasty cold that ended up getting into our eyes. It was pinkeye-esqe. Yuck. One morning, Bronson woke up and his eyes were sealed shut with that horrible goopy eye glue. He was certain that he had gone blind. Of course, that is a terrifying thing for a six year old to think. Poor boy. He just sat there in his bed, humming to himself and weeping while he waited for nearly an hour for me to come downstairs to his room and find him.

My new favorite thing about St. Patrick's day is the fruit rainbow that I make. YUMMY!!!

| Some day, my kids will be old enough to appreciate corned beef and cabbage, but for now, we'll eat green food and a fruit rainbow. |
