Grandpa Smith took us to Baby Animal Days this year. It's a fun little 4H event. We've been wanting to go for years, but every year something comes up. This year, we MADE it happen. And we're sure glad we did! It was a lot of fun! Plus, Grandpa got us in for FREE, without waiting in line!

| The first thing we did was run over to the horse rides before they got too busy. That's my little Bronny boy. I think this may have been his first horse ride EVER! |

| And here's Josh. He doesn't remember riding a horse because he was pretty teeny the last time he did. Quin screamed like he was dying at the very thought of riding a horse. That boy.... |

| We weren't there very long when a HUGE storm rolled in. We all got drenched and wind-blown, but it was super exciting! It blew through pretty quickly and we were able to enjoy the animals again. |

| Love it! Seriously, this event made me feel very sad and homesick for our little farm. None of my boys even remember our goats and chickens. |

| Sheep. We actually timed it just right to watch a sheep sheering demonstration. It was fun. I sat and chatted with an old, grizzled farmer while his adult son sheered the sheep. We were pals by the time he finished and he let my kids touch the pelt. |
